If you really wanted things to change you would take all that shit out of your face, cover up your tattoos, and put on a tie before going to the protest. Once gay people can get married and rich people pay higher taxes and rape victims can get abortions THEN start demanding that you be heard and respected with all your piercings in and your tattoos showing.
Also, stop acting like the world is going to suddenly turn into the cover of an Against All Authority 7” and the PUNX are going to defeat the cops with pig-faces in a Lord of The Rings-style showdown. It’s romantic, I get it. BUT YOU’RE GETTING NOTHING DONE! The Civil Rights Movement got shit done by getting their asses beat and exposing people’s bullshit for the evil it was. They didn’t change things by wearing sweet skull-faced balaclavas and throwing rocks.
But you don’t want change. You just want to vilify your own punk rock-ness on TV because when you were in the 9th grade some future physics-major with a Fugazi shirt on called you a poser after Propaghandi signed to Fat Wreck Chords.
